This September, VitaeGum won 25 000,- NOK at the Hauge Business Network Pitching Competition. This takes us a great step closer to running our planned pilot.
We know that our gum is an effective vehicle for delivering nutrition and dental health protection, but that is not enough – we need to test at a bigger scale whether it is actually adopted habitually over time.
We are in conversations with Evangeliesenteret to conduct a pilot test through their contact centres. The charity has worked for almost half a century with supporting drug addicts through food centres, rehabilitation programmes, education, and community support. They have 13 contact centres across Norway that deliver over 600 tons of food annually.
The judges praised the idea, thorough planning and research, a well thought through business model, and seemed as excited as us to see how well it will work on ground.
“Great presentation. It addressed all the questions we could have come up with throughout, including target groups, product, organisation, business model, and the whole package. Well done.
